Students attending Parts 1 & 2

If you've already purchased places for BOTH Parts 1 & 2 (Beginners & Intermediate levels), we ask you to initially book a place on the Part 1 workshop and then apply to attend Part 2 at a later date. This is to allow you adequate practice time between workshops.

 

Students attending Part 2 or Part 3 only

We assume you have a good understanding of the following topics - if you don't, you 're advised to purchase a place on the preparatory Beginners' Workshop at a specially discounted rate, before attending the Part 2 or Part 3 workshop. Email us here to do this.

 

- fully understand the relationship between Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO

 

- be aware of how to control Aperture and Shutter Speed in Aperture Priority exposure mode

 

- know how to find the shutter speed, aperture and ISO values displayed on your camera

 

- have an understanding of how to avoid camera shake

 

- have an understanding of perspective and how to control this through different focal lengths

 

- have calibrated your camera for manual focus and have practiced the correct use of manual focus
